Baptismal record help

Post by jml1991 »

Hi all,

Am I correct in reading that the father Giuseppe in this 1665 baptismal record (#898 on the attached page) for Filippa Giacoma d'Amico was deceased at the time of her birth? Or does the deceased notation (which I have typically seen in front of the name of the deceased), refer to the mother (Giuseppa lo Blando?) dying in childbirth? Or am I entirely wrong, and no one is deceased? If not, what does "qda frali" mean? Thank you for any help!
