Is it true that courts in Genova reject AVO's who migrated as minors??
Is it true that courts in Genova reject AVO's who migrated as minors??
Surfing the net I just came across a comment that the Tribunale in Genova do not accept minors as AVOs, that they require the Non-Naturalization Certificate of both parents, in that case. Does anybody know if it's true? I'm putting together all the documents and have even contacted Luigi Paiano, but I never thought the age of the avo as he left Italy mattered. I don't know when exactly mine came. One of my relatives says he was 14 or even 10. I know the decentralization of the Cittadinanza Courts in Italy is quite recent, but I'm hoping somebody in this forum can help!

However, each case is judged individually based on Italian immigration laws, international agreements, and personal circumstances. Drive Mad

It's definitely worth looking into this further. While each case is judged individually, as linnellaa mentioned, it's also true that different Tribunali can have slightly different interpretations of the rules. Perhaps try searching online forums or contacting an Italian citizenship lawyer who specializes in cases in the Genova region. They might have specific insights into the court's practices
