Need help in locating ship!

Post by Mardi »

I am seeking help in locating the arrival ship for Tomasso Picone and Angelina Palmisano. This is the information that I have. Thank you, any information will be appreciated:

TOMASSO [MASSIA] PICONE was born September 07, 1843 in Ustica, (PA) Sicily, Italy, Sicily, and died January 24, 1926 in Harahan, La. He married ANGELINA PALMISANO April 20, 1876 in New Orleans, La, daughter of FRANCESCO PALMISANO and ROSA BARBARA. She was born November 02, 1847 in Ustica, (PA) Sicily, Italy, Sicily, and died December 31, 1928 in Harahan, La.

First of all, I think you better review your details.

Tommaso Picone was born on 7th September 1844
Parents were: Domenico and Rosalia Caserta.

Angela Palmisano was born on 26th November 1851
Parents were: Francesco and Rosa La Barbera.

The child born in 1847 is actually a boy named Angelo probably from the same parents.
Also, there was another baby girl named Angela born previously in June 1850 to the same parents but died in December of the same year.

Having said that.
Did they travel together or separately? Any idea when?
Which was their arrival port?

Thank you Farassino for the corrections. I will update my information. I was going by information my cousin had given me.
Answer to your question, I do not know if they were traveling together or separately. I believe I read somewhere, immigration was around 1870. As far as the Port of arrival, could be, was the Port in New Orleans. LA
Thank you for your help.
