Interpretation Of Birth Record For Anna Maria Cancilla

Hello. I am hoping someone can please interpret the birth record and baptism record for Anna Maria Cancilla for me. I believe I have the correct record (One of those hard to read ones, lol). The index shows she is at record 36. The index link and birth record links are below. Thank you so much.

there are only birth records from 1821-1822, not those from 1820, for which there is only an index.

From the Index you posted: Annamaria was born on 30 March 1820 to Antonio Cancilla and Giovanna Palma.

Yes, it's disappointing that those 1820 birth records are not on line. Maybe they were of poor quality or something. Maybe you could try emailing the town and asking them if they could send you a copy of the Birth Act. You have all the information, they just have to locate the 1820 register and look for Act No 36. It's just a thought.

Basically you are asking for a photo copy of the complete birth record. That way you won't get just get an extraction of the details from the birth record. It’s better to send an email, that way you won’t have to pay for postage. All the best with this Joe. I know you have been looking for this record for some time now. Take care.

Very happy to help, Joe. I think that email should be good to go. No one has made any corrections. It's suggested that you also send a copy of your id e.g. drivers licence. I personally never have and have managed to receive replies/documents but that was a long time ago.
