Anna Buscemi death

Post by lindamauer »

Hello,
This record is on the fee based Archidiocese of Agrigento
If anyone has access to this site Please help with translation.
Since it is copyrighted i will only state that the record is for Anna Buscemi who lightly is seen in index- image 4 in Santa Margherita di Belici death collection containing 1694
The record which is very hard to read is located on folio 41 recto-front right side the 4th record down. Image 68
I think i am seeing it is about may 19 or june 19 1694 based on surrounding records.
I really cannot discern anything else and actually am guessing this is for Anna.- It does fit on her timeline.
Any help would be appreciated.
Best,
Linda

Potrebbe essere moglie di Agostino Amorusa?

G
I think you’re correct. I thought the first letter could be an A and not I. I don’t see their marriage in the SM indices.

Also on family search, in the section of family trees, Linda has her married to a Giuseppe Gattano. I have no idea where she got this info from. Not in the SM indices. I also already told her the month of Anna’s death was May and not June, as she has recorded there.

re Giuseppe Gattano/Cattano-- one record shows a definite G and this one looks unclear if G or C
There are 2 children by this marriage.
It is found on Archdiocese Agrigento website in collection 1683 to 1723 recto folio 298 image 182 bottom record. i did not find it in index- town of Santa Margherita di Belici
I relied on seeing another's translation so it would be great to have another person translate it.

Anna died young to me-- my only thoughts are death records are not specific enough sometimes- this could be another Anna. Records are so hard to be absolute.

Thanks,
linda
