Help with grooms baptism location from marriage record - Guidotti

Post by deigo1 »

Hello hoping someone can help with the translation of the bottom part of this marriage record. The record is from Gaggio Montano, but my GGF Domenico Guidotti wasn't from there. I'm trying to converse with the archivist in locating Domenico's baptism. I believe its saying he was baptized or was originally from the parish of Gabba (the archivist is not finding his baptism in the archives). Then I see parish of Grecchia listed in the writing at the bottom and perhaps some BAANS dates that might be helpful. Was he from Gabba, but residing in Grecchia? From what I've read eventually those two parishes combined and was known as Gabba and Grecchia, before both were suppressed and now reside in the archives of Lizzano in Belvedere.

Thanks!
D.

I read:
Domenico Guidotti, son of Luigi, from (born in) the Parish of Santa Maria in Gabba.
The, it says that the banns were also posted in the Parish of San Lorenzo in Grecchia, where the groom lived.
Giuseppe "Pippo" Moccaldi
