Hello,
The below link is the 1593 Monreale riveli for Pietro LoRe. With it being five pages, this is a family of importance/wealth. Do you agree?
My first comment -
For a family to have 8 living children at that time is pretty impressive.
My questions -
1 - After the children, the workers/apprenctices are listed. I only see their name and age except for a couple of them. Francesca LaScala, bottom of page 257 is 20 years old but what is directly after that. It is written for some of the people but not all.
2 - Does it mention what the family does to have all those people?
Thanks
Chris

Re: 1593 Monreale Riveli
1 the word is "incirca" = "about"
2 if I can read, it is listed that he had 230 cows and 400 goats, so he was rich, and needed a lot of workers.

I think the word after Francesco LaScala on p 257 is garzone-an apprentice or errand boy maybe? I see the word after a lot of the names.
Re: 1593 Monreale Riveli
Thank you both. Now I want to see if he handed it down to his sons.

I'd also say the surname is La Sala
