I am still searching for a village of origin for Concetta Marino.
My father thinks she was born in Reggio Calabria, other places may have been Bari or the region of Calabria.

My Grandmother Maria Boniche never found any records about her mother Concetta Marino in Argentina.

I am also looking for an immigration record for Ignacio Boniche (Bonichi in Italy) He was from Genova, maybe from Zoagli.
His Immigration record was not on Cemla.com which starts in 1882

abt Concetta Marino it is hard to say something... the first names( Concetta, Lucrezia and Pasquale Marino) give me the idea of south Italy peoples... Maybe Bari area, as you said, it is more probable, because Lucrezia is very used as first name in this area...
Pasquale and Concetta are common first names in all Italy but more in south Italy also... maybe finding the marriage record or the death record you can descover more...

abt Bonichi.. Ignazio Bonichi was 40 old in 1855... so born abt in 1815... this search is also very hard... Zoagli seeming the probable birthplace...

Reggio Calabria is a very good option. The surname Marino is widespread over there and also in the nearby villages of Gallina and Armo.
If you search on my website http://www.benvanrijswijk.com/fontigenealogiche.htm in the registers of those two villages you will even find a Concetta Marino, though it is not the one you are looking for.
It is a pitty for you that I have not been able yet to work on the civil state for the years after 1865.
