birth certificate

i recently received a birth certificate of my great grandfather from italy.it is handwritten and stamped by the comune.it doesn't have his parents names on it.i have another birth cert.from another relative that came from italy and it is an actual copy of the original and stamped.does anyone know if this will be accepted by the consolates.i live in florida so i will be going thru miami consolate.

Hola:me llamo Susana,soy de Argentina y quisiera saber donde puedo averiguar en Italia ,la fecha y desde que puerto salió mi nono .El se llamaba Pablo F.De Filippi era nacido en Avellino el 12 de May de 1883,era hijo de Felipe De Filippi(1833)ingeniero y de Teresa Vitale(1836) tengo entendido que su emigración debe de haber susedido entre 1909 y 1912 porque él bajó y se quedó en Montevideo,donde conoció a mi nona Elmerina Cardini y contrajo enlace el 7 de marzo de 1914. Un saludo de Susana Haydeé Vera.

Belmoro, there should be no problem. They rarely send actual copies of the original, just the estratto. Since it is stamped by the commune, it will be ok.
