Normanno

Post by mler »

I posted a few days ago, but I now discovered that my mother-in-law's maiden name was not Norman but Normanno. Does that ring a bell for anyone? This would be in the province of Campania.

Hi mier, yes I remember your post:
Searching for information on the Norman family. My mother-in-law, born in Pomigliano d'Arco (Campania) in 1900 (approx.) was named Maria Stella Sibilio (maiden name - Norman). I would like to know more about her family. Many thanks.
but obviously was NORMAN no a italian surname, so I no replied... for Normanno no living people currently in Pomigliano d'Arco, but it are in Napoli area ;
for to know the infos about Maria Stella relatives, you can request some certificates in Pomigliano d'Arco civil record office:

Servizi Demografici
Piazza Municipio, 1
80038 Pomigliano D'Arco (NA)
Italy
