help with translation of death record

Post by bkworm10 »

Hi

Could someone please help me translate this death record. This is the death record of Rocco Laraja and I think he died in 1805. I cannot read anything else in this document.

Thank you! A.

Thank you so much dragoni! I would have never been able to pick that out! The other one was much easier to decipher.

Is giovanni battista the father of Rocco Laraja or Laura Canuso?

Does it say a town where Rocco was born?

Thanks! A.

On April 1st 1805 died Rocco Laraia, husband of Laura daughter of Giovanni Battista Canuso, aged 40.
No birth place mentioned.

The certificate was issued on Jun 2, 1861 for marriage purpose.

Was Rocco 40 or Laura Canuso 40?

Thanks Livio!

That's what I thought, but before I recorded it, I wanted to be sure!

Thanks Livio!
