Marriage record dated Feb 7, 1885 at 5:30 P.M. in Rutigliano
Groom was Vito Giuseppe Valenzano, age 28, peasant/farmer born in Rutigliano, the son of Francesco Valenzano and Vittoria Gassi.
Bride was Carmela Luccente, the daughter of Paolo Luccente and Aurelia Berardi.
Witnesses were Onofrio Nitti, age 27, landowner and Domenico Lanzo, age 50 property owner.
Marriage publications were made on the 11th and 18th of last month.
The document was not signed by the bride, who was illiterate.

Birth and baptism record of Vito Giuseppe Valenzano
Dated May 15, 1856 in Rutilgiano
Appearing was Francesco Valenzano. age 37, a peasant/farmer, the son of Vito Giuseppe Valenzano. He reported that his legitimate wife, Vittoria Gassi, age 26, the daughter of Francesco Gassi, gave birth to their son, Vito Giuseppe Valenzano, on May 15, 1856 at 5 in the house on Strada Sotto al Castello. The infant was baptized by the parish priest of Rutigliano on the 17th.
