Marriage Record Translation

Post by rp76226 »

This is the marriage of Giuseppe Puma to Maria Bartolotta. There were 3 images given for this marriage. The first image has the basic civil record information and I was able to translate all of it except for the last name of the bride's mother - Maria Giuseppa ? - that is all I need on the first image:

I need help on the last two images - just anything genealogically significant, if there. I don't need the translation of every word.

Maria Giuseppa's surname looks like Buscemi, but that is best guess.

Page two and three include the documents presented including:
(My best assessment)
Birth act of groom, born 9 April 1831
Birth Act of bride, born 1 February 1838
Death of father of groom, died 3 December 1841
Death of father of bride, died 7 August 1849
Death of Antonino Bartolotta, grandfather of bride, on 30 April 1832.

There is a note in right column about groom's grandfather's death(?), but I will need to come back to that.

The notation in the right column about the groom's grandfather's death states that the groom did not produce a copy of his death record, as he did not know the grandfather's last place of residence.

Thank you both. Seems like they left out the female ancestors.

For purposes of showing legitimacy/lineage, the father's line was the requirement, not the mother's.
