Dated 30 December 1848 in Trabia
Groom: Salvadore Caruso, free (to marry), age 26, born in Trabia, farmer, son of Antonino, age 58, farmer residing in Trabia; and of Girolama Balistreri, age 50 (or 56), residing in Trabia.
Bride: Rosa Arrigo, unmarried, age 17, born and residing in Trabia; daughter of Maestro Francesco, age 48, baker, residing in Trabia; and of Maria Geraci, age 39, residing in Trabia.

Right column - Celebration of Church marriage on 7 January 1819.

Pages 2 - 4
Consent of the parents of the spouses.
Banns posted on 19 November of said year.
Documents provided:
1 - birth act of groom
2 - birth act of bride
3 - Act of notification posted to the door of the town hall resulting in no opposition to the marriage. All of the above entered into the register at foglio 83.

List of witnesses to the recording of the act:
Giuseppe Caruso, 38, farmer
Giuseppe Geraci, 46, butcher
Vincenzo Gargaglia, 34, civil servant
All residents of Trabia

The record was signed by the father of the bride, Francesco Arrigo, and also the witness Giuseppe Caruso, along with the official.
