I haven't been able to find the Domenico Valente I'm looking for in the Ellis Island records. The age or the year of arrival just isn't right when I do an advanced search using the name of the ship. I did however,
find his father Marco Valente who arrived in 1907.
I guess I just don't know where ...

Valente/Rossi from Villa Latina
My Great-Great Grandparents names were Marcus (or Marco) Valente and Elizabeth Rossi. Their son (my Great grandfather) was Domenico who immigrated to the USA in the early 1900's (haven't found a consistent date yet). I am wondering how I can find out if they had any other children?

Is this enough information though? Would it make their search easier if I could include the exact date of birth and his parents names? (If so, how is that translated?)

I am trying to figure out how to obtain a birth certificate for my great grandfather, Domenico Valente. I know this name is as common as John Smith in the USA! I have obtained a copy of his naturalization records, and although they are extremely bad copies, I can see that he was born May 8, 1884 ...
