cemetary
Part of my family is from Monte Marciano, Ancona, Marche. How would I locate a cemetary in that area? What are cemetaries called in Itlay? I am planning a trip to Italy and thought if I went to the cemetary, it might help locate older family members. Would it be typical for them to be buried in the ...

Re: pozzo alto, pesaro
Dear ricbru,
I emailed this address: urp.comune.pesaro @ comune.pesaro.ps.it
I asked them about vital records for my great grandmother, Maria Massanelli, and her brother, Giuseppe. I was suprised to get a response from them. They emailed birth records for both. I knew their father's name was ...

Re: massanelli
Trish,
Thanks for all your help!
It looks like Giuseppie Massanelli came over the first time in 1906 and went back to Italy and came back with a wife in 1908. I can't make out her name. Josephine was his wife at some point. I will have to do some more researching as to why there was another name ...

Dear ricbru,
Thank you for your help! I really hope the registry wasn't destroyed. I will be at a dead end if nothing exists. I will email the references you gave.
Thanks again,
Trish

My great grandmother was Maria Massanelli. Her brother was Giuseppe Massinelli. I think their father was Domenico Massanelli and mother was Rosa. They are from the Pozzo Alto, Pesaro area. They came to America in 1906 and settled in the Pine Bluff, Arkansas area. Any info would be greatly ...

Lepri
Need help in locating g-grandfather info. His name was Giuseppe Lepri. His alien registration papers list Senia, Rome, Italy as his place of birth. I can't find Senia. I'm thinking maybe it should be Segni. He was born in April of 1890. Came to America approximately 1906. He went to Lake Village ...
