There are three Agostino Antolino that came through Ellis Island two are listed as being from Andretta. Check it out. http://www.ellisisland.org
and there is a Agostino listed in the 1930 Census records in Essex New Jersey. Do you know anymore information on him... when he was born, etc.?

Was he in the US when he passed away? If he worked in the US, you might find him in Social Security.

He was born Sisto Polarolo in 1891. He returned to Italy to server in the Italian army during WWI. Thanks for your help.

Is there a good place to go to start looking for military records. My great grandfather came to the US, but returned to Italy to server during WWI. I dont have any records, only what I have heard from the family.
