Re: quick ques: what is Casola di Napoli?

I will be going to visit my families home town in Italy next year and that is what I will be planning on doi...

Re: help finding date & location of death
Thanks for your help Nunccia.
What other info would be of help to you. I don't really have a lot of info. I have found them in the 1910 & 1920 census, if that would be of any help. Let me know what I can do to make it easier and if I have the info I will post it for you.

Re: Getting birth certificate from Italy
Hi Everyone! Just had to post some good news for a change. I sent a letter to Berceto Italy, asking for my ggrandfathers birth record on 18 May 2007. I was very nervous about getting a response after all of the stories I see on here about waiting 3, 4 or even 5 months or not getting a response at al...

Re: MANGANARO-TERRAZZANO
Hi Karen!
I served in the navy with a Vincent Manganaro in 1961. He was stationed at McGuire Air Force base in a navy squadron and lived in Toms River, New Jersey at the time. He was a career navy guy. I guess he would be about 80's now if still living. Are you in any way related to him?

Re: STILL LOOKING FOR EUGENIO NOSTRAME
here is a link for the manifest, but his name is crossed out. It may mean he did not make the trip at that time. He shows coming to be with his brother Salvatore who lived at 238 Mulberry st.. If he had a brother who lived there this could be the one. He shows coming from Napoli and then Gragnano as...
