thank you for taking an interest in this matter. i have searched records from her approximate year of birth (1824) but, the only thing i found was a atti di nascita for calogera licata without the diciotto. so i cant be sure that it is her. i would be very grateful for any information ...

it've been looking for an excuse to go back to sicily again!
there is a separation between dieci and otto(sort of), but as i said it appears on all records w/ her name, her childrens birth records, her sons marriage record and her husbands death certificate. i've also found one record of a licata ...

i think i found her birth record it all adds up except the fathres last name is licata only. it just seemed really odd to me, i guess its just another genealogical mystery for me to solve.
