Re: Document Translations

I have yet another question pertaining to translations. When I requested my grandparents marriage certificate, I received three pages. An "Affidavit for License to Marry", a "Marriage License" and a "Marriage Certificate". All three were attached with the Apostille. Do I need to translate all three ...

Re: Document Translations

Great, thanks for the responses. Yes this is in regards to the vital records of birth, death and marriage certificates. I am doing just that, by trying to mimic the original format as best I can. It is time consuming though.

Thanks again,

Document Translations

I am going to attempt to translate my documents myself. My question is, does every little detail need to be translated on the document to include those areas that are not filled in, as well as the very small fine print?

Thanks.

Thanks for the quick response. What exact address would I use on that link? Sorry, if this is a stupid question.

My question is, should I send a letter to Belcastro or Catanzaro Ufficio dello Stato Civile? I have already sent a letter to Catanzaro but still ...

Ciaccio from Belcastro

I am new to this forum and would like to put it out there if anyone has any information regarding the Ciaccio family from Belcastro. I have been able to trace my great uncle "Alfonso Ciaccio" who immigrated to the US in 1906 from Belcastro and used the name "Saverio Ciaccio" for his father's name on ...
