Re: Italian Noble Titles
TORTORA Family has a crest. Very beautiful by the way. Will send site later. Very busy now meeting a deadline. It is the authentic, not made up by commercial outfits. Do not trust sites not confirmed by proper authority. Everyboby can post all sort of crests. Including using them without the authori...

IRISH families in the South of Italy
A possible displacement of Irish people to the south of Italy?
Does anybody know when they came? Kept the same surnames?
Will be very grateful for any information.

pink67,
Great! You 're right! Now it seems so clear. Funny how sometimes we catch difficult words, and then get a block on an obvious one! Thanks, A.

Peter Timber,
Thank you very much. I have found another notice in Auxerre, but it seems to be another family. Thanks again!

Hi Nuccia This is too much! I love it! Dialects are wonderful! The problem with me is that I tend to pick up words in other languages, file them somewhere, and disaster, they pop -up at the most inconvenient times and places. I got a bunch of good ones now... Thanks so much!   Sophia
