I have been searching for my grandfather's birthplace for a long time and would like to request the addresses of the provinces of Reggio Calabria, Catanzaro and Crotone. I had previously thought he was born in Cosenza, but writing to the province cleared that up.

Thanks for the Stoneham info, didn't have that! I have all the birth certificates for my grandmother and my uncles from San Giovanni in Fiore, but cannot find Ignazio--which I need desperately for the dual citizenship. I do have Ignazio's naturalization papers, but no place of birth ...

I have had good luck by putting 2 dollars in cash in envelope with 3 first class stamps and requesting Certificato di Nascita (birth certificate) and send to:

Found my grandfather!! Got reply from Cosenza stating he was born in San Giovanni in Fiore. Not sure why SG had not been able to locate his birth cerificate. Will write them again and enclose the letter from Cosenza!! Thanks to all!!
