Re: great great grandfathers birth cert
awesome! I could make out barely enough to know I had the correct birth certificate... I hope to produce a translated version of this, to keep with a copy of this... so both can be viewed by future generations...

Hi guys! I've been gone awhile. there was a lot going on in my life that kept me away... but I'm back.
I had two cool things happen though. 1. my great aunt in Oh, who had told me she never had children... well, she did have a daughter, with her first husband, but it was before they were married ...

great great grandfathers birth cert
I would appreciate any help in the full translation of this birth cert. I had to take pictures of it and then piece those together, as my local LDS center doesn't have the film viewers that can photocopy as well. so I did my best with my camera and photoshop. and now I need help.

Re: VALENTE FAMILY - MONTE CASINO
Fredoniapeaches, that would be Frank and Sam. Frank just died recently in Arizona at I believe the ripe old age of 97 ! Considering the line of work, a very nice life ! you can read the article @ www.mafiatoday.com. type in Frank Valenti in the search box for the story.

Re: Pipitone and Rosato Families Palermo 1900
did you try finding a death certificate? the town clerk in the area that they passed will have a death certifcate... usually about $10 by mail or in person... and whom ever the family member that helped to fill out the cert, if they knew... where they were born will be on it.

I tried sending it to you several times, both as a new email and as a reply... and it keeps kicking back to me. your email security settings may be too high, and I'm not on your safe list.

what is the name of the person you are looking for specifically, so that we are all clear. Also, where did he live at the time?
