From what I can see the Hamburg did not arrive in May 1906 but as Peter pointed out it did arrive in Feb 1906. The dates for arrival in NY is

Re: Cook County and Chicago
Just be aware that not all records are available.
Another cooK county site is their Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County Archives naturalization petitions covering the years 1871 to 1929. More than 400,000 of these records are Declarations of Intention.

Re: need help locating family Fuoco, Costanza, Tallarico, Ap
There are a lot of Fuoco from Cosenza, some from Colosimi but one in particular I noticed was a
Camillo Fuoco who arrived with a Angleo Costanza and both were heading to British Columbia Canada, they arrived on the Konig Albert on Jun 10, 1903.

Re: Nebbiu, (BL) Italy
On this manifest there are 3 De Maso's (starting on line 4) a Luigi, Francessco and Giuseppe. Francessco was heading heading to Syracuse and was 30 years old in April 1896. All three appear to have been masons. These may not be the De Maso you seek though as you haven't indicated if they emigrated ...

Re: Looking for more info re: Luigi D'Alessio
Peter,
I agree, but there are several cases of east coast destinations arriving into Canada and then traveling too their end destination. Just as is the opposite case, many east coast arrivals who's end destination is the midwest.
But never hurts to check and those are sound words.

Re: Looking for Passenger list please
Also as an FYI if you know the ship and date you can go directly to that manifest using Steven Morse' enhanced search for Ellis Island
Go to
http://www.stevemorse.org/ellis/boat.html
Enter the ship info then page through the manifest using +1, +2, +3, or +4 depending on how the pages are produced ...
