I was lucky - not only are both my parents Italian, I was registered BOTH in Scotland AND Italy. Eventually I ended up with a UK passport but a few years ago I applied and received an Italian one too.

I have finally traced my dad's side of the family from my uncle who left for Argentina along with his uncle.

I appear to have relatives in Argentina, Miami, Chicago and Brazil.
My uncle died before he got married over in Argentina but it seems his legacy lives on.

I have the map of Italy tattooed onto my right arm - mainly due to my pride in being Italian but also as a 'you wont get me' response to the racism I face from certain 'elements' in Glasgow.
