You can go to ellisisland.org and look at the manifest yourself if you'd like. The site is free, but you need to register. Notice that the spelling of the last name at the Ellis Island site is different. Use the spelling they have to find it. Meanwhile, I will try to post the ship manifest on photob...

Best thing to do would be to post the scanned documents to an image sharing website like photobucket or image shack, then post the link here. That would give you more exposure to people here on the forum who could help you (including me...

Though the writing is very light, what I am able to see looks like it's in latin. I see what looks like two names near the bottom of your first image. My guess is that it reads Bernardo Inzerra and Joachim Lojacono. As for Benedetta...it may be a last name Spurio(a) after the name. There are others ...

AND...I would strongly suggest you follow Peter's recommendation of the Lynn Nelson book. That really helps you get a handle on just what you're looking at.
