Hi Paul: My grandparents Vincenzo & Maria Rosa Iemma also came from Cittanova, born in 1880 & 1881 respectively. Unfortunately for me the trail starts there, but theres little info before they came to the states. Im on Ancestry.com & GentediMare.com & both sites have been helpful. Tw...

Just a point of interest, there is no letter K in the Italian alphabet & usually Ch is pronounced as the letter K....Johnnie

Im over 60 & I never heard of it, but black history month gets crammed down our throats every year. My daughter whose now only 25 years old took Italian in high school, but when she went to a Catholic college she was told "we dont teach Italian, theres not enough demand for it,but we offer ...
