I found what I was looking for all the way back to Italy to both sides of my family.
I was very surprised to find that my grandmother had such a HUGE family in Pietradefusi and the surrounding towns! More ...

Found what I was looking for.... finally. He did arrive in 1900.
I traced him back and found his family and the family of his wife !!!. I know who they were now and am very happy. My research now has moved to Italy, montemiletto and pietradefusi. I am on the receiving end of a wealth of information ...

Unfortunately I do not have a scanner. I have written to the Archives @ Boston. He told me if my grandfather was naturalized in a Boston Court, they have the records of the COA if it still exists. I am currently waiting.....

I got the papers through the NARA request and order reproductions. I only received 2 papers a declaration and a petition with the oath on the back of the petition.
I guess that is the whole file on him.

I have been reading the Nat. Papers, noticed this number after the affidavits.... "subscribed and sworn to before me_____etc.. in the office of the Clerk of said court.......
