Marriage Record age issues

I read that the groom is 57 and his parents are younger. Does that mean the age they died instead. Also, what comes after Sferrazza? Also, the bride's mother is too young. so that must be the age she died too. Correct. http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.it/v/Archivio+di+Stato+di+Agrigento/Stato+c...

Italian Antenati Website Problems

More often than not, the Italian Antenati website for civil records is either extremely slow or down the last few weeks. Anyone know why?

Re: Translation of Pages 2 and 3 of Marriage

I have 10 Fuca's on my Tree (from the 1700s and 1800s) of 45,000+ people. They are from Racalmuto. One of them, Santa Fuca, in 1837 married a Puma, Calogero Puma, who is very distantly related to me. I have 440 Puma's on my Tree. My Puma family originated from Racalmuto, Sicily. If you are subscribe...

Re: Translation of Pages 2 and 3 of Marriage

Calogero Puma did have a first wife and a child with her - the same ones that were posted here. Thank you for the new information on the Fuca side of the family. I'm a bit surprised that the same level of information was not given for the Puma side. I'm also surprised that my last few requests were ...

Translation of Pages 2 and 3 of Marriage

The following link is for pages 2 and 3 of the marriage of Calogero di Puma to Santa Fuca in 1837. Page 1 gave the parents. Are the grandparents given on these pages, and if yes, who are they? http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.it/v/Archivio+di+Stato+di+Agrigento/Stato+civile+della+restaurazione/...

Italian Wedding Parties in the 1920s in the US

I have three photos of relative wedding party photos from 1920 and 1924. In all of them, which were quite formal, there was the groom and best man - the only men in the photo, and the rest of the wedding party was all women (up to 9 women) plus the flower girl and ring boy. Was that typical then? To...

What is the document number

On the following link for a marriage index, on the second page, third marriage (Palermo-Puma), the document number appears to be # 27 to me. However, when I looked up that document number, it was for another marriage. It's not 77 nor 127 either because the records do not go up that high for that yea...
