Civil Record Contact for Carpinone, Isernia
How do I contact the town of Carpinone, Isernia to find a 1903 birth record? Their online birth records stop at 1899. Looking for the birth record of Mariantonia Fariello, born on February 3, 1903 to parents Rocco Fariello and Filomena Scarola. Her older sister Pasqua Camilla was born there on April ...

Re: Looking for descendants of opera singer Salvatore Puma
These Puma brothers are third cousins of mine. I have no idea if the opera tenor had any children and/or grandchildren.

Re: Help With Colorized Building Photos
Put the Black and White photos on Ancestry.com and you can colorize all of them quickly, plus keep both the black and white photo and the colored photos if you so wish. Not a perfect system, but overall pretty good. However, it does require a subscription. You can colorize any black and white photos ...

Re: Translate Birth Record
Unfortunately, I got this from another family tree on Ancestry.com. I do not have the link. It is supposed to be the 1828 birth record for Maria Antonia Bruno. She was from Via della Croce, Alimena, Cefalu, Palermo, Sicilia.

They go back to 1821 for that town. Remember, marriage and death records can give you parents information when birth records do not exist for a person.

Re: determining if at end of branches of tree
Check Antenati records for that town. Use the Firefox Browser to do so because Google Chrome has issues with this website. Here is the link to Italian civilian records for that town:

Alternatives to Ancestry.com for family trees
I've had a family tree on Ancestry.com for over 20 years. I've given access to the tree to dozens of family members who must use a log in process so that my tree is protected from identity thieves. Access has cost them nothing as "members" who are not "subscribers" and until this year, they have ...
