Awesome! So as a grown up she went with her middle name, which I thought was her first. Interesting.
And that would be her family on your second post. I remember Della and her family. I'm pretty sure she has a yonger sibiling Henry that was born later. He is still alive I think.

So I am trying to get more info about my Father's side of the family. I don't know a thing about my grandmother's family but her maiden name and her mother's maiden name.

Very interesting. I will have to ask my Aunts when I go back home to visit in the summer. I hope they will have some stories and info for me so that I can record it for myself and my children. I'm not sure how close they were with my grandparents so hopefully they have something to tell.

Thanks again! Its amazing what families I noticed on the Census. Names stuck around the area for a long time. Still ancestors there now. PLUS, a famous wood carver, Ernest (Mooney) Warther was on the same census as my great grandparents and the local Candy store that is owned by the Eiler family ...

Czech/Croatian/Yugoslav?!

Barbara Ann Kalich Zuchegno

Now I am trying to get more info on my Maternal Grandmother's family. Her maiden name was Kalich and from what I am told its a Croatian Surname.

I tried to find my grandmother's birth certificate (Barbara Ann Kalich) where it would state her Father and Mother's names ...

Needing place of Origin....

For two surnames. I am not 100% sure they are from Italy but based on family stories and a few trees that I found online I am thinking they are based in Italy, just don't know exactly where.

1. Zuchegno (I also on Ancestory.com spelled as Tuchegno)
2. Chaireberra
