Last one, I promise!
Leonardo Traficante's birth record. Having trouble reading what is written after his mother's name. Looks like D' Chiaranta???

Re: Help with reading birth record.
Of course, I have another question! After reviewing the Allegati, I found Cherubina's birth record. It seems that a woman named Rosa Mazza reported the birth, not Angelo Errichiello. Is this normal? Where was dad?? Was Cherubina illegitimate?
Here's the birth record:

Re: Help with reading birth record.
Thank you Angela!!!! Could I impose upon you again?? I found Leonardo and Cherubina's (what a great name) marriage record. I think I have the very basics understood. Re: Bonaddio/Turcasio
LOL! Actually, both sets of my maternal grandparents are coal crackers! My grandfather, Nardozza (from Rionero in Vulture) was from Scranton/Dunmore, too. That's how they met. I will definitely check out those records, too!!

Re: Bonaddio/Turcasio
Thank you Biff! While I had this information, it's good to know I'm on the right track. I will write to Nicastro! Any advice on where to write? I'm getting confusing information online when trying to look it up. Thanks, again!
