That was a very interesting read, thanks for sharing. I do hope she gets to stay, if anything the museum should befriend her, it would be much better for everyone in the long run!

This is a very interesting question! I know that many Italian POW's were held in a camp just across the road from where I live all those years ago. I may look into this subject a little closer myself!

I think the best bet is through Ancestry.com! It's the most used site and that's how I ...

I know this is a very old thread, but if you are still there (!) I have lots of information on the Bedfordshire and London Tacchi's if this is of interest.

Antonio (Anthony) Tacchi moved to Bedford in the early 1800s - he was my great great great great grandfather

Guys, I just did a search on Antonio Tacchi from bellagio, emigrated to bedford... I think you can see where this is going.
