Re: What's the current average wait time for appointment in

Wait time for my appointment was about three months. I was told after my appointment that it would take about twelve months to register my records in my commune because of backlog at the L.A. consulate's office.

Hi, What is the average wait time for an appointment in LA, to submit completed ...

Re: Sucess in Los Angeles

In my original post, I noted that "Arizona has two certificates of marriages, one of which is a certificate abstract of the marriage. I was told that I needed to get this document and have it translated and apostilled." Correction: It is not a certificate abstract of marriage that I need to be ...

PS. You have always been a citizen of Italy; you just need to wait another year to have that fact officially recognized!

Sucess in Los Angeles

Hi Everyone,

First, I want to thank everyone in the forum who has helped me, especially Misbris, Carmine, and Drew.

Recap:

My appointment was yesterday at 11:30 a.m. Around 11:20 a.m., I went to the office of Raffella Buiano. She was very gracious and immediately I was at ease. The first question ...

Re: L.A. Consulate

Wow. I am sorry about the wait after hearing such good news. I wonder if the office would consider expediting if you were in Italy or planning a trip to Italy?

I met with Raffaella Alsschuler. Very nice. Said my paperwork for me, my wife and my son was flawless. And my application was accepted. It ...

Re: L.A. Consulate

I was wondering how your process went back in April 2099 and who was the L.A. Consulate at the time of your meeting.

Thank you,
Steve

I had my appointment last April 22, was told my petition was successful but have yet to receive a firm written confirmation or a letter about the passport.

I was ...

Re: Consulate acceptance of incomeplete documents

I have an appointment with the L.A. Consulate on April 12. I have a few questions.

1) When did you have your appointment with the L.A. Consulate?
2) How long did the Consulate indicate that you would need to wait to have your passport?
3) What was the Consulate's name that you met with?
4) What ...

Re: Was He Naturalized?

I requested naturalization information from the USCIS via Form G-1041, which was received on January 14, 2011. I called late last week, and I was told that they were processing for January, and that I should receive the requested information within the next couple of weeks.

Hopefully your mother ...
