Re: DeMarinis/Porrazzo/Addonizio; also Lamantia/LoBocchiaro

I just found out that my grandfather, Enrico DeMarinis, was born in Candida, Avellino, Italy, on January 20, 1857. I can't find out more information on his parents, Almerindo DeMarinis and Teresa (Iantosca or Fantosca). any help here?

Re: Need names deciphered

Still looks the same to me. When I select and copy the url's I did paste to the post, but as I said, it doesn't look any different than before. I don't get to "see" it until it gets posted on site. t

Re: DeMarinis/Porrazzo/Addonizio; also Lamantia/LoBocchiaro

Oops! I just found out that the first image I sent of the "marriage document" was not such, but rather the promise of the marriage to be, presumably in a few weeks following. Anyway, I do need the names deciphered. And also, were the two fathers "maestros" meaning teachers?

Re: DeMarinis/Porrazzo/Addonizio; also Lamantia/LoBocchiaro

I am sending 2 images, pages 1 and 2, for Giuseppe Lamantia (my paternal grandfather) for his birth (March 20?,1867) to understand his parents' names better.

On Giuseppe's marriage record to Antonina Bocchiaro, his parents names are shown as Angelo Lamantia and Girolama Bonetti/Benetti? This ...

Re: DeMarinis/Porrazzo/Addonizio; also Lamantia/LoBocchiaro

An update on LoBocchiaro and Lamantia:

I ordered 3 microfilms from Family Search for the Lamantia and LoBocchiaro search. I am working on them at a local center.

So far, I have found Giuseppe Lamantia's (my paternal grandfather) civil birth record from Misilmeri, from March (20 possibly, as it ...

1. I couldn't get to this manifest mentioned below via Ancestry or Castle Garden for the older records using "C. Antonio Purrazzo" as you have below. I also tried alternate spellings with no luck.

Do you know what ship manifest you found this name on?
