Interesting! My father and his siblings grew up as "Scanza" so I did as well...must have gotten mixed up or written incorrectly at some point. I kind of started to wonder once I found something with "Scanga" on it. I am so grateful for your help. I am going to check out your webs...

Oh my!!! Wow and thank you!!!! I don't know if I ever would have figured all of that out and I don't know how you did it so quickly with such a terrible copy but I can't thank you enough. Wonderful!!

Have you tried to search for her on https://familysearch.org/ I was able to find a lot of family information on this sight. Hope that helps a little.

I really do appreciate everyone trying to help :) Yes her name was Marianna and quite possible it was changed to Maria etc...I have searched under Anna, Maria etc...I have seen the census record and do believe that is them but am confused about the mother-in-law being listed as Feliciana J. Jordana....
