Different forum, same question . . . abbreviation
I found a commercialista phone book listing with the abbreviation "DR." after the name. Could someone tell me what DR. stands for? I've checked Italian abbreviation sites and not found anything.

The first reply I had, suggested I put a space between the Di and Fani. That seems to work! Now, I'll need to contact the people to see if we might be from the same family! Thanks for your help!

Difani Family
My ancestor is Xaver Difani. He was born 19 Nov 1756 in Appenweiler, Offenburg, Baden, Germany. Xaver's father was Joseph. I don't know when the Difani family Italy. Does anyone know of any Difani family members presently in Italy or Europe?
