the word delli in front of the word quondam is plural-both parents deceased; the record doesn't say where he was from Thank you, I found a marriage that is likely theirs (1628 marriage of "Jacopo" Costa and Vincenza Renda, I think that Jacopo is an older spelling or Latinization of Giacom...

I read "Todaro", and it seems to be an ancient name, from a modification of "Teodoro". Nowadays, it is more common as a surname. However, if you search Google for "San Todaro"+"Sicilia", you'll get several references of places going by such name. Thank you Pi...
