Re: So how the heck did my grandfather get US citizenship?
I wonder if you reach out to the Historical Society of Pennsylvania if they might be able to help you figure out how he received a certificate of citizenship. Do you have a copy of the actual certificate? They have remarkable information in their collections and very knowledgeable staff.

Re: Severino DeAngelis from Guilianova
Tessa--
Thank you for posting the documents related to Severino and Splendora. I'm new to IG and new to genealogy, so this information is amazing to have! I unexpectedly found Splendora's name just recently, and this has been key to finding much more.
I greatly appreciate your help!

Re: Severino DeAngelis from Guilianova
Hi Marty--
I do believe that Splendora was married twice, but I'm not certain. I believe her second husband was Joseph Palestine and that they came to Philadelphia. I found a death certificate that I believe is hers--she died on Nov. 14, 1948.

Severino DeAngelis from Guilianova
I'm looking for Severino DeAngelis, my great-grandfather, from Guilianova, Italy. He was married to Splendora Cerasari, and they had two children that I know of, Cesare and Antonio (b. 1884). Any information about Severino or Splendora is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
