Dal Maso is a proper surname and today it's quite widespread in that area.
You might find something here even if there are very few years:

Re: Identify Lapel Pin in Photo?
If he was born in 1869 it's very unlikely that he participated in any war. My guess it's that he was awarded a decoration for his work.

Re: Identify Lapel Pin in Photo?
Hello,
it seems more a civil decoration, but it's very hard to say in this photo. Which was his job? When was he born?

Not that I know of unfortunately. There are a few municipal archives where you can have access to late '800/early '900 census forms but it's just a minority

It's likely that his paternal grandfather would be named Federico, but it's definitely not an universally applied rule. It could be anything.

Re: Anybody from near Portogruaro Venice?
Hi Ben,
I suspect that "Lifore" is in fact Lison an hamlet in the municipality of Portogruaro which has been an autonomous parish since the 16th century. The long s is often confused with an "f".
If the act you're searching is post-1871 you can probably find it here:

You mean Loppia in the comune of Bellagio? In that case maybe the other place would be "Borgo" instead of "Barga"?

Re: Children of Rosina Santarossa & Valentino Battiston
Was Rosina daughter of Angelo Santarossa and Maria Angela Marcuzzi? Unfortunately you won't find her marriage online (only up to 1910 on FamilySearch). However if you know where their children were born you can request from the municipality a "certificato di stato di famiglia storico" where all the ...

Re: Information on Giovanni Vincenzi, 1848, from Roncoferraro, Mantova
Giovanna Cestari was the daughter of Giuseppe and of Fortunata Marin, "esposta del Civico Spedale di Mirandola" (Fortunata was brought as a newborn to the hospital in Mirandola and her parents are probably unknown). The other names are: Mauroner Carlo of Antonio and Stefanini Aristide of the late ...
