Re: Surname popularity

25% Taranto etc... Are those percentages based upon DNA or paper trail? apologies for the long delay, never even saw your question until now :) it's purely based on paper trail, the DNA results I've got so far are not quite that specific, and are quite confusing to say the least :p that's why I was...

Re: Taranto - processetti 1819

Hi Marty, the marriage was between Nicola Di Castro and Maria Carmela Schinaja, which took place on 12 Sep 1819 (Atto di Matrimonio #189). I was hoping for some extra information on the bride and groom's parents and their parents, as it is often the case in Processetti.

Re: Death Cert for Nicasio Prinzi Lo, Prizzi, Loprinzi in Caccamo before 1851

there are unfortunately no processetti for 1851, that would have helped.
does Salvadore have any brothers or sisters that got married around 1851?
that's a useful trick, in case one of those processetti is indeed available online...

Re: Is Margherita's father deceased? Help

some comuni have a section called "atti diversi" (miscellaneous acts), where - among other things - those who died in a different comune would be recorded. Looks like Caccamo has this section: http://dl.antenati.san.beniculturali.it/v/Archivio+di+Stato+di+Palermo/Stato+civile+della+restaur...
