Re: Ancestors of Marone Fidani - Porto Civitanova

Hi Bill,

The Fidani family doesn't have anything on Argentina and Australia. I did some searching for one of the family members a while back. The following info is from Buenos Aires. Romulo Carlos Fidani was born April 7 1902. His parents are Pedro Fidani (1870-1929) and Josefa Grassi(1878-1925 ...

Re: Ancestors of Marone Fidani - Porto Civitanova

Hello Bill,
My name is Enrico(Rick) Berni and I was born in Toronto Canada. My grandfather came from Fano, which is just north of Porto Civitanova. All the immigrants that came from Marche socialized together in Toronto in the 1920"s. I grew up with the Fidani family, who are from Porto Civitanova ...

Re: Bernacchia/Vagnini Families Fano

So, that was probably me asking your mother. I talked to her several times on the phone before I met her in person.
I don't have my chart in front of me but the initial Bernacchia/Cesaroni relationship started when my gggrandfather, Angelo Bernacchia married Palmina Mauri. Erminio Cesaroni, Donna's ...

Hello Dburke, I have been trying to find the connection between Bernacchia/Vagnini. since 2014. Carlo V visited my GGrandmother Albina Bernacchia in Toronto several times a year. He called her Zia but I don't know how Albina is his aunt.

Re: Looking for birth certificates

Thanks for these Tessa. You know, there are no Fidanis and very few Mercantis in Civitanova now as far as the phone directory is concerned. There seem to be more of both families in Buenos Aires. How reliable are family tree inputs on Family Search Tessa.

Re: Looking for birth certificates

Great find Tessa. Rinaldo is also the name of Carlo's brother. So this makes sense, that a son is named after the father. The brother Rinaldo eventually came to Toronto as well. Thanks so much for finding this Tessa.

Re: Looking for birth certificates

That is great darkerhorse, thank you. If Libero Mercanti's mother's surname is Cionfrini then We can confirm the relationship between Carlo and Libero. Thanks again for your help.

Re: Looking for birth certificates

I don't know. I am hoping that Carlo's mother and Libero Mercanti's mother are sisters. Carlo had 2 brothers that I know of, Rinaldo and Antonio but I don't know when they were born. I hope this helps. Thanks for checking into things for me darkerhorse. I appreciate it.
