A coworker of mine is looking into the process for himself now and his line is to his father then grandparents. He has no records of his grandfather who died when his father ...

Hello everyone!
I just got the news my citizenship (after 5.5 years) has finally been processed and I have my birth certificate emailed to me! I wanted to know if anyone could give me some pointers on where to go now. From what I can tell I’ve registered online in the AIRE, and need to book a ...

Re: 1948 Case with Luigi Paiano
It took just over 50 weeks for the court to amend the error and Luigi now says it will take
"an average" of 6 months for the final decision. What did he say about the typo for you?

Re: 1948 Case with Luigi Paiano
I’m hoping it will be amended soon but it’s been nearly a year. And this amendment is in the court’s final decision, nothing to do with the comune, which may be why it’s taking so long. My advice to you is to read the decision very carefully once received and ask any questions prior to the ...

Re: 1948 Case with Luigi Paiano
About a year ago the appeal period expired on my case and there was an error in one of the persons birthdays that needed to be amended since it was wrong. Luigi hasn’t given me any real expectation of timing for it to be corrected but ha anyone else had something like this happen? If so how long did ...

Re: 1948 Case with Luigi Paiano
Hello,
My appeal period on my case expired and the birthdate for one person in my case has been written wrong by the court in the decision. Luigi told me it could take 6-12+ months to correct this. Has anyone else experienced this? It seems beyond absurd that it will take this long
