Re: Help finding GG Grandfather

 Do you think it would be ok if I contacted Lorenzo on facebook? I would love to talk with him and see if he has any questions about his great grandfather that I might be able to answer for him. I speak and understand a little Italian but will most likely need the help of a translator. Sure, ...

Re: No Greece after all

I just now saw my updated DNA estimates from Ancestry. Very disappointed to see the Greece/Albania estimate was removed. I assumed that it came from the Italian side of my family. And after reading about Greeks living in Italy for such a long time, I thought for sure we had a little Greek in our fa...

Re: No Greece after all

I'd be relieved. Hi there! Yes, some have tested and had Greece/Albania. All different %'s. I noticed the men all had higher %'s than the women did. I went back and checked, and it seems anyone with 5-15% Greece/Albania, lost it in the new update. So I'm not sure what happened. I had assumed given ...

Re: Help finding GG Grandfather

Hello! I need some help with locating my Great Great Grandfather, Anthony Cozzone. Based on his draft cards, he was born in April 1878 or 1879 in Venafro, Italy. He died in New Jersey in 1971. As of now, that's the only information I have. I'm going to try the Antenati webside. Familysearch is only...

Help finding death record

Would anyone be able to look up a death record for Dominico Amoriello, please? He would have died in luzzano, benevento, Italy. His wife was Angela Amoriello. I believe he died before 1820. Thank you for your help.

Native American genealogy

Hello! I hope I'm posting in the correct place, if not please let me know another place to ask questions 😊 I've been working on my maternal family line and a woman by the name of Mary Canoe keeps popping up in my research. From the little bit I've read so far she *could* be Native American. I hope I...

Hello! I have a question regarding DNA testing. My husband is adopted and he is in contact with his birth family. He would like to get his DNA tested. I've tried making family tree for him but since he's adopted I've had a some trouble. His adoption was open. Would it be worth it for him to have a D...

Yes, that's correct.
The way Amanda says, is how an English speaker probably reads it.
Thank you for clearing that up. I'm trying to get better at correctly pronouncing names, places, towns ect.

Hello! I need a little help finding Domenico Amoriello. I have one document with his name and that is a death act from 1832 for his son Stefano Amoriello. Domenico and his wife, Angela Amoriello (assuming they're related. Cousins maybe?), are both listed as deceased. If my math was right Domenico an...
