Has anyone located birth/death/marriage records for Palermo pre-1820. If so, please advise where to go.

I was able to discern that the person that declared to city hall of the death of Sebastiano Lipore, was his father Angelo, 60 years of age. Sebastiano was 22 years old and he died in the home of Giuseppe D-Ambrosio.

I could not understand the occupation of Angelo nor of the son.

Based on their date of passing, I was hoping to find their birth record but they do not show up in the Palermo decennnali records - Isidoro estimated DOB - 1775 and Ottavio estimate DOB 1823.

Isidoro is outside of the range since pre-1820 but Ottavio should be locatable

The names are 1) Isidoro Catalano who died in 1872 (97 yrs. old), son of Filippo and Benedetta; 2) Ottavio Catalano who died in 1875 (52 yrs. old) son of Teodoro and Provvidenza

How does one obtain access to these Rivelli records for Sicily? Are they online or only available through Church LDS?

In the 10 year records for Palermo, there are certain records that have "Uffi" as the location - versus S.C. (Santa Cristina) or S.A. (Sant'Agate). Does anyone know where how to locate the Uffi records?

Have you been able to locate where the records are located for Palermo "citta".
I used the 10 year file for Palermo to locate records and they refer to the section of "citta", but there is no sezione that corresponds to citta.

Need some assistance in locating those fiche.
