Re: Italian court records from early 1900s
These would be notary records which are not normally includind in Family Search's digitizing activities at the State Archives. Notary records for the early 1900's would normally be found at the Tribunal Archives.
Thanks so much for the response! I'm assuming Tribunal Records are only accessible ...

Italian court records from early 1900s
My trisnonno was an attorney in Catania and practiced law in the early 1900s. Have court records from that time period been digitized and are they publicly available? My family and I are trying to learn as much about him and his siblings as we can. If further information from me is needed to help ...

Any and all suggestions would be greatly, greatly appreciated! We're trying to figure out who sent this postcard and we think the first name may be Siano, but we have no clue about the surname.

It ...

Re: Nickname "Siano"?
Interesting. We don't know of anybody in the family named Siano, so it's probably a friend. Thanks so much!darkerhorse wrote: 28 May 2022, 19:06 However, Siano also appears to be a given name (not a nickname) in Italy, so it's probably the proper name, Siano.
