Con la presente sono spiacente di doverLe comunicare che non ho trovato l'atto di nascita del Suo avo. Ho fatto la ricerca dal 1876 al 1885, ma è risultata negativa. Rimanendo a...

Re: IGNAZIO family
Suanj, here is the draft card. But previously you disagreed with Biff that is was him because of who he listed as his relative. He listed Biana, and Biani is his wife's name. Rosa Biani. But you were positive it is not him, so I still do not know his birthdate. If this is not him, I don't know how I...

Re: IGNAZIO family
Hi Suanj. Thanks for the help. Yes, his last residence was Pecoraro. Rose Biani was from there (his wife). I think he was there because of her. But his death certificate and marriage certificate say that he was from Varzi in Pavia. I have found a WWI draft card with a birthdate on it, but a couple o...

Re: TRANSLATION?
Livio, I have a question. The name Inngid Trella which you said is not an Italian name, is the name I got off of the lds.org website. I am sure it is just an error in transcription. But I have no guess of what Inngid might be. Do you have any ideas of an Italian first name that sounds like Inngid? I...

Re: TRANSLATION?
Livio, if you don't mind, I would like to add one more line about Maria Nicola Trella. I would like to say that she had two brothers named Antonio and Domenico that also emigrated to the United States. Can you please translate? Thanks so much!

Re: TRANSLATION?
Hello. Maria Nicola is my great-grandmother. That's what's on her vitals. As for her father, Inngid, I do not know the exact spelling of his name. Maria Nicola's death record should be coming to me in a few days and I will know the right spelling. Thanks.
