My GF left Italy after serving in the army and after WWII. He migrated to El Salvador, Central America. He renounced to his Italian citizenship. My dad was born while he lived in El Salvador, my GF married a Salvadoran. My GF has deceased.
Is there any possibilities in becoming an Italian Citizen/Resident with these events.
Let me know if you need more detailed info, I could definitely ask my dad for the details.
Thanks In Advanced!

If your grandfather renounced his Italian citizenship after your father was born, you would qualify jure sanguinis. If he renounced before your father was born, you would have to establish residency in Italy for three years (you would apply after the second year).
