cervaro and cassino

hello, can anyone tell me the names of the principal churches in cervaro (fr) and cassino town (fr) were the local priest may hold records of baptism marriage and burials. i would appriciate any help, kind regards, john

When there I click on diocesi and then drill down to the region and then parish I need. I am not that familiar with the region, so beyond this I am just guessing for you....but maybe someone else will know more.

but, remember, Cassino was totally destroyed during WWII by an anglo-american plane bombing and all the registers of the town were lost.

Good Luck. He is a busy man and unless you need the record for some special reason (like citizenship and the town records were destroyed) I doubt he will look it up. Still you never know. Be sure to enclose a SAE.
Parish death records rarely give any information except date of death. Only occasionally do they give parents names (like for a child)
I am planning to offer to digitally photograph Cervaro records like I am doing in Sora. I don't know if he will allow it. Keep watching my website for an update. Parish records in Cassino before 1900 are pretty sparce.
