Are you looking for an Italian surname? Do you need more information about your family heritage?
This is the right place to start your genealogy search.
For starters go to www.paginebianche.it and insert Creati in the first line and the intials of the province of Livorno LI which coversd Livorno and the province of Livrono as well. In any event there are just 4 persons so just click CERCA and when the foru persons come up by name, address and telephone number you will then be in a position to contact them and ask f they are related to your Creati. WSrite in Italian if you can and write one letter and mail it to all four persons with a self addressed envelope enclosing a dollar inside eeach for stamps to encourage a reply. Records require a place of birth and a date or year of birth but apparently there are no records with the Mormon Family History Library for Livorno. Consequently you can write to the Ufficio di Stato Civile in Livorno (www.circolocalabrese.org under research for form letters in Italian) and request a birth record giving them the surnanme Creati and the date of birth 1825 if that is the only information you have. Enclose a self addressed envelope as well but also send $5.00 EURO since the service is free but your asking a lot of digging. You can always write again iuf youi get replies from the 4 Creati you will write to. Peter NYC
