HI:
you send an letter with all data of your grandfather, enclosing $5 for secretariat expenses, and you demand "Estratto dell'Atto di Nascita" your ancestor.
Or, if not are sure of data of your grandfather, send an email for info birth record, and, when you obtain answer, you send letter.....

Go to www.circolocalabrese.org and click under "research" for form letters in Italian with a self addressed envelope wioth the $5.00 in Euro,dollars or postal coupons. The service is free but mail requests are last priority of the day and donation recommended by Mormon church people. Oftimes they will service you free anyway but its just a recommended thing. Peter
